I designed this shirt for the people who tell me how wack Hip Hop is now and how they don’t listen to it anymore. The Logo represents the power that Rap Music has on the world. Corporations control Hip Hop now, not the people. The more control that corporations have in Hip Hop, the less interest people have in it. Corporate greed is killing Hip Hop too. They look for the image and what's gonna sell. I understand the business aspect but consideration of the people is also good business. Kids in the ghetto are raised off hip hop. People miss the variety in Hip Hop. I love gansta rap but we should throw the hope in there somewhere. All genres of Hip Hop should be able to coincide on major radio stations to give the people balance. The scale is lopsided with Hip Hop music and with the same empty message. The streets can’t identify with a lot of the rappers out now. People are struggling now more than ever. I created this for the listeners who want to make a statement about the condition of Hip Hop today.
